1958-1978 Buckeye Council Camps

From 1958 until 1978, the Buckeye Council operated two separate summer camp properties, one located at Camp Buckeye near Beach City and the other at Camp Tuscazoar near Zoar, Ohio. Both camps offered the Pipestone Camp Honors program and were served by Sipp-O Lodge.

From 1958 through 1969, the Council issued no summer camp patches. They did issue several neckerchiefs of various colors and designs - often the same design was used to for summer camp, camp staff, campmasters and camp leaders. Many featured the camp mascots, Icky for Camp Tuscazoar and Bucky - the Buckskinned Racoon Hat wearing pioneer.

Below are pictures of all the issues that we have in our collection, although I am sure many more exist. We are always looking to pick up those that we do not have in the collection. If you have something, please use the contact us link below on the left to shoot us an email.
